EVANGELIZING TRAINING PLANTING SERVING
We are moving to Hungary in 2024 with the plans of planting a local church in Szeged, training pastors in the region, and outreach to university students.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Evangelizing
Evangelizing the lost is our main focus as we share the Gospel with those in Hungary. For over a decade, we’ve evangelized children, young adults, and government workers through the Hungarian American Fellowship summer camps and Christmas box programs. Through translated Gospel presentations, Hungarian Bibles, and individual conversations, over 750 have accepted Christ as their Savior since 2011. We aim to continue evangelizing to youth in future summer camps, individuals we come across throughout our daily life in Szeged, and students at the University of Szeged.
Planting
Another goal is to plant a local church in the city of Szeged. This will be accomplished by starting an English-speaking Bible study at our residence, in addition to an English-Hungarian translated Bible study on another night. We pray that God will bless these efforts, see several come to know Christ, and establish the beginning of a local church plant in this town.
Training
Another aspect of our foreign mission is training pastors. Brett created the Pastors Training Fellowship in 2022, which is a multiple-day conference held three times a year. Local pastors from eastern Hungary and Transylvania convene for targeted training on doctrine, discipleship, and fellowship. Pastors from the U.S. also attend on a rotating basis to assist with the teaching sessions and training.
